Another Open Doors Session at VivaCell-MTS

Yerevan/Mediamax/.On December 13, the children of the Alaverdi Community Rehabilitation Center NGO visited VivaCell-MTS premises in the frames of the Company’s Career Development Project.

VivaCell-MTS General Manager Ralph Yirikian introduced the students with the history of telephone invention and the development of technologies; spoke about the peculiarities of the mobile network, explaining the technical implementation of a mobile-to-mobile call; told about the development of the mobile network from 1G to 4G, and much more.

Special attention was paid to explaining the concept of the Corporate Social Responsibility, VivaCell-MTS being one of the first companies to introduce this model in Armenia.

After the lecture the children were guided by Ralph Yirikian to a tour in the premises of the Company, where they had the opportunity to see a model of a base station, witnessed the work of the VivaCell-MTS hotline operators, saw the Mobile Switching Center, the Service Center, enjoying the warm and friendly atmosphere at the VivaCell-MTS Family.

The tour ended up with a Q&A session, during which the children exchanged thoughts with Ralph Yirikian and got from him answers to many questions.
