Yerevan/Mediamax/. A united electronic system for the sale of tickets for cultural events will be launched in Armenia in 2011.
Deputy Culture Minister Arev Samuelyan told Mediamax today that the creation of this system is one of priority directions of Ministry’s activity in 2011.
“The system will noticeably facilitate the ticket sale process both for the visitors and for the institutions,” she said.
Arev Samuelyan also said that the new system will make the ticket sale process more transparent and reduce the shadow turnover.
At the initial stage the united ticket sale system will be launched in big cultural institutions, particularly in the National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater after Alexander Spendiaryan, Sundukyan State Academic Theater, the National Galley and the Museum of History of Armenia.
According to Deputy Culture Minister, tickets for any cultural event may be purchased through the united ticket sale system in box offices of largest cultural institutions.
In the future the tickets may be ordered via internet as well.
