Ucom applies to court with demand to stop “unfair competition” by TEAM

Ucom CJSC has filed a lawsuit in the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction against TEAM (Telecom Armenia company), demanding termination of unfair competition.

According to Datalex judicial information system, the plaintiff has filed a lawsuit seeking an end to unfair competition, demanding that TEAM is barred from negotiations on acquisition of VEON Armenia shares and the deal on acquisition of the shares.

Ucom has invited parent company of VEON Corporation, VEON Amsterdam BV, to be involved in the lawsuit as a third party.

The court accepted the lawsuit on July 28. The case was signed by Judge Hovik Shahnazaryan.
