Joomag opens an office in China

Joomag is expanding its operations into China, opening an office in Shanghai, Joomag informed Itel.am.

The company offers big and small businesses a platform complete with integrated content marketing, digital publishing, corporate communications, and sales engagement solutions.

Founder and CEO of Joomag Ruben Vardanyan said that they had been eyeing the Chinese market for quite a while.

“China’s economy is one of the world’s largest emerging markets and presents a promising opportunity for many international companies. It’s a chance for us to accommodate both Chinese and international businesses,” he said.

General Manager of Joomag’s newly established office in Shanghai Gevorg Grigoryan said that over 77 million companies operate in China.

“For any growing company with overseas aspirations, China is the ideal destination to expand in. And with that number increasing every day, it’s en route to becoming a tech superpower that rivals the United States itself. There’s an opportunity here that we simply cannot afford to miss,” he said.

Joomag was founded by 4 Armenian programmers in Silicon Valley, 2009. It is an all-in-one digital platform, which offers universal solutions to big and small businesses in the field of content marketing, digital publishing, sales engagement and corporate communications.

The company’s offices started operation in Munich and Moscow from 2015. Opened in 2013, Joomag Armenia already has more than 50 employees.

Huffington Post, Elle, Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Harper’s Bazaar, Levi’s, IBM, Expedia and KFC are among Joomag’s clients.
