Armenian stage of NASA hackathon admits applications

On April 29-30, Armenia will host a local hackathon (its second overall) within NASA Space Apps Challenge 2017.

The competition will take place in Byurakan Astrophysical Observatory of the Armenian National Academy of Science, with support from the observatory management. The host and organizer of the Armenian hackathon is X-TECH, while Locator performs as co-organizer.

You can register for admission here until April 21, setting the country as Armenia.

The competition will last for 24 hours. In that time, participating teams worldwide will introduce their solutions and suggestions to the international jury first locally, then globally. The teams will use data virtualization, coding, design and other methods.

The teams will be competing in the following five topics:

- #IdeateandCreate,
- #TheEarthandUS,
- #WarningDangerAhead,
- #PlanetaryBlues,
- #OurEcologicalNeighborhood.
