The British Council, Beeline and British Embassy in Armenia have announced the launch of the 15th anniversary British Film Festival in marzes of Armenia.
The films from the festival programme will be screened in Gyumri, Dilijan, Armavir and Martuni in March.
The festival already kicked off in Gyumri. Dilijan is the next in line.
“The festival visits different marzes each year, which allows transferring cultural life from the capital to other centers. The audience in four marzes will watch new British films,” said Director at British Council Armenia Arevik Saribekyan. “By supporting such projects, Beeline helps young people improve their lives. We attach the utmost importance to giving the youth in marzes the opportunity to see the best examples of modern British cinematography. That will expand the outlook of talented Armenian youngsters and will facilitate development of Armenian film industry,” said Beeline Armenia CEO Andrey Pyatakhin.
The admittance to screenings is free.
