Roofbot, the classical puzzle game from Armenia, has been featured by Apple in Best New Games category.
The game took the 4th place on AppStore in US, China and Canada.
Roofbot is available both on AppStore (for USD 2, 99) and Google Play.
The game’s developer Koreez was founded in March 2016 by a group of friends-game developers: Sargis Sargsyan, Arbak Martirosyan, Anush Arakelyan and Khachatur Badalyan. This seven-people team includes developers, artists and game designers.
Koreez CEO Sargis Sargsyan told Itel.am that the success on AppStore facilitated their cooperation with Double Coconut, American game developing company.
“The main character of Roofbot, the robot, tries to get the geometry topics into corresponding places. Another interesting part of the game is that the environment changes as the robot moves. The first version was on Google Play on August 13. I’d like to note that the game took part in the Google’s Indie game festival and qualified for the final,” Sargis Sargsyan said.
According to him, they target puzzle lovers aged 18-35.
The company plans to make a theme update in the game for Christmas holidays, adding new levels. The game will be launched on Steam soon.
