Ucom supports holding of demonstration classes on eye sight

Armenian EyeCare Project (AECP) and Ucom Foundation supported visits to regional centers of Armenian EyeCare Project, organized for students of high classes from a number of schools in Spitak and Ijevan, on the occasion of World Sight Day.

Under “Stronger Together” motto, demonstration classes were also organized at different schools of Yerevan and marzes, as well as Yerevan Special Educational Complex for Children with Hearing Impairments and Orran charitable NGO.

“Today eye care centers in Spitak and Ijevan were provided with Ucom mobile internet, which will become faster in regions after the incorporation of 4G+ network. Ultra-fast communication is essential for incorporation of remote surgery, which will allow accomplishing surgeries with the help of robotic equipment, while the patient is in other country or continent. Ucom is well aware of this challenge,” said Ucom Foundation Director Ashot Barseghyan.
