Winners of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle contest are known

Fimetech, ArmBGC, and TSD team won the 1st, the 2nd and the 3rd places respectively in the final stage of the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle contest held on July 2 at Arzni airport, receiving AMD 600 000, AMD 400 000 and AMD 260 000 prize money.

The contest, held with the support of the Union of Information Technology Enterprises (UITE) and Ucom, required the UAVs to reach the targets, drop the 300g cargo and return.

The competition was attended by Deputy Defense Minister of Armenia David Pakhchanian, Head of Military Aviation Institute of Defense Ministry Colonel Daniel Balayan, UITE Executive Director Karen Vardanyan, Ucom CEO Hayk Yesayan, and members of the jury.

The contest was implemented in the framework of the Robotics Development Program of ArmRobotics.
