CYBER GATES sums up participation in European auto-race

26 Armenian IT companies paid visits to 18 European countries within the framework of “Armenian IT European Auto Race” project on October 4 to November 5, 2015.

All in all, 12 professional and more than 30 individual meetings were organized in Vienna, Katowice, Prague, Berlin, Paris, Marseille, Zagreb, Milan, Belgrade and Sofia.

Itel.am talked to CYBER GATES CEO & Founder Samvel Gevorgyan about the process and the importance of the event.

“This event had positive impact on our company’s development. All meetings were held in a professional manner. We met with a number of European companies’ representatives and got some serious offers”, he said.

Samvel Gevorgyan mentions the meeting with the leader in local security sphere ForProgress representative Beata Dyczewska in Katowice, Poland, as an important one.

“The company had the intention to enter Armenian market with its programming solutions. As a result, we got an offer from them, as the leader in the sphere, to become their representative in Armenia. Seeing our innovative solutions and potential, they changed their mind during the meeting and offered to become our representative in Poland instead, which is very encouraging”, Samvel Gevorgyan stressed.

The meeting with Armenian Ambassador to Italy Sargis Ghazaryan was mentioned as the next important one.

“The Ambassador said that almost every event they initiate is sabotaged by Azerbaijani and Turkish hacker groups and their actions. Getting acquainted with our rich experience and professional solutions that we offer, the ambassador trusted us with the embassy online resources to secure their smooth operation”, said the CEO of CYBER GATES.

Samvel Gevorgyan highly praised the tour around European countries and the opportunity to get acquainted with their culture apart from professional meetings.
