The first three-day conference on TV content market will be held in Armenia from May 26 to 28.
Ucom is the organizer of the conference. Within the framework of the conference, representatives of Discovery, Viasat, MTV, Paramount, Sony, Euronews, Fox, National Geographic, Nickelodeon and Disney Channel will arrive in Armenia.
The conference aims to bring together the providers of international TV content, regional broadcasting operators and Armenian state structures to discuss issues related to TV market and to find areas of cooperation in the future.
It will be a three-day conference during which participants will present their practice, will get acquainted with the Armenian TV content market, will study the demand and possibilities of the Armenian market and will devise plans for future cooperation.
Besides foreign delegations, specialists of the Armenian TV content market and representatives of the Ministry of Transport and Communication, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Economy and National Commission on Television and Radio will also take part in the conference.
“Ucom was the first start to initiate the legalization of TV content dissemination and signing contracts with a number of international TV channels legally imported them into the Armenian TV market,” reads the press release disseminated by Ucom.
