Beeline, British Council and UK Embassy in Armenia will launch British Film Festival 13th Love Edition dedicated to the idea of spreading and keeping love in Yerevan on February 14-20.
Director of British Council Armenia Arevik Saribekyan told journalists today that Oscar nominated “Imitation Game” will mark the beginning of the Festival. It will be screened at Moscow Cinema at 16:30 on February 14.
According to Beeline Armenia CEO Andrey Pyatakhin, they continue being the general partner of the Festival as the company attaches importance to the programs which change the people’s lives for the better.
“I am sure with our support, interesting and quality films within the Festival will be available to the cinema lovers, and the young people with their talent and modern views will give a new breath to Armenian cinematography”, he said stressing that the films will also be available to the residents of marzes.
UK Ambassador to Armenia Katherine Leach said that this year the best films will be screened. “The topic is love toward man, motherland, nature and how love can change and heal man”.
Seven films about social problems, family relations and love will be available to the audience. The movie screenings at Moscow Cinema and Cinema Star are free. After the Yerevan screenings, the films will be available in Dilijan, Armavir and Ararat as well.
The organizers stated Beeline will support holding of various contests as well as a special screening dedicated to the World War I Centennial.
