Beeline fixed network digitization works launched in Norashen

Beeline continues works aimed at the digitization of telephone exchanges and phone network subscriber lines in Armenian regions. In particular, works aimed at the digitization of the landline network of Norashen community in Tavush region as well as switching of current subscriber lines to digital format launched in September, 2014.

Upon the completion of works (expected on September 26), Norashen residents will enjoy high-quality fixed network and broadband Beeline Internet services via ADSL2+ technology. In the course of digitization works, the equipment will be changed, fiber-optic cables will be routed and current subscriber lines will be updated.

We attach special importance to providing high-quality network in borderline settlements and are happy that the modernization of the network will allow changing the life of borderline community residents for the better”, Beeline CEO Andrey Pyatakhin noted.

It should be noted that Navur community in Tavush region got high-quality digital network in June this year. In 2013, Yerevan city phone network was digitized for 100%. This index exceeds 86% in the entire country.
