First Mobile App Expo-2014 starts

Mobile App Expo-2014 is held in Armenia for the first time.

Around 40 companies take part in it; they present completed mobile game apps, business, social, educational and leisure time solutions.

Mobile App Expo-2014 is organized by Enterprise Incubator Foundation (EIF), mLab ECA and Microsoft Innovation Center Armenia.

Deputy Minister of Economy Garegin Melkonyan stated at the opening of the exposition that the IT sphere dynamically develops in Armenia, especially in the recent years with the support of the private sector.

EIF Head Bagrat Yengibaryan said that mobile apps also rapidly develop in Armenia; Armenian specialists have developed a number of globally known apps.

Orange Armenia also takes part in Mobile App Expo-2014. Company’s CEO Francis Gelibter welcomed the participants of the exposition and said that the area of mobile apps is one of the company’s priorities.

Mobile game competition and an open class for students with the use of ArmTab will be held within the exposition, which will last until May 31. Participants will present mobile app ideas developed by them.
