Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan said that the government has been resolved to launch Mobile Number Portability (MNP) system.
The PM said that “we have positive results in this regard and quality service is offered to the citizens”, Mediamax reports.
“The citizens are not obliged to get permission from different circles to switch from one operator to the other. It is carried out quite easily and automatically. We all should be committed to providing thorough information to our citizens in order to increase the number of citizens taking advantage of it”, said the PM.
Tigran Sargsyan recalled that despite certain subjective resistance the government acted in favor of its principled position on MNP introduction.
