All settlements in Armenia already provided with mobile coverage

Member of Public Services Regulatory Commission of Armenia Samvel Arabajyan said today that there is not a single settlement in Armenia which wouldn’t have mobile coverage.

According to him, 68% of Armenia’s area is provided with 3 operators’ services, 23% - 2 operators and 8.5%- only one.

“It’s clear that coverage requires investments from companies”, said Samvel Arabajyan noting that the operators keep on carrying out works to this end.

He said that a decision is being drafted upon which the operators should post information on their sites saying in which settlements they have coverage also noting the used technologies. The operator should also mention the settlements where they don’t have mobile coverage.
