Yerevan/Mediamax/. ArmenTel (Beeline trademark), \"Adrenalin\" extreme sports association of Armenia and STR sports club announced the holding of \"BeeCross 2012\" republican autocross championship.
The tournament will be held at the dirt road of the Nubarashen polygon especially built for the championship in Yerevan. Sports vehicles and quadrocycles will take part in the championship, ArmenTel reports.
The sportsmen will vie in Olympic system passing 3 circles of the road at the length of 1.3 km. One round of 15 circles will be held for quadrocycles.
\"As autocross contest is traditionally held at the dirt road, they can be fairly called the most spectacular ones in motorsports. People will be able to easily watch participants get over special barriers, springboards, slopes and ascents. I am sure the company\'s next initiative on supporting youth sports in Armenia will attract not only old fans of contests but also capture people who see the race for the first time\", noted ArmenTel CEO Igor Klimko.
