Establishment of state structure for innovation control to be discussed at DigiTec business forum

Yerevan/Mediamax/. The issue of establishing a state structure for innovation and modernization control will be discussed during DigiTec business forum due to be held in Marriott Armenia hotel on June 15-16.

Executive Director of the Union of IT Enterprises Karen Vardanyan stated this today noting that IT sector which ensures positive changes in life should be systematically controlled.

He said that the forum will comprise a number of events- conferences devoted to issues of introducing technologies, a number of technological workshops, “DigiTec Business” exhibitions with participation of about 40 local and foreign companies.

“On the second day of the forum, bloggers will conduct the platform for discussions and they will award a special prize to the worst bids”, said Karen Vardanyan.

“ArmenTel” (the general partner of the forum) CEO Igor Klimko said that year by year the forum registers quantitative and qualitative growth of companies and suggested solutions.

“During the forum this year, ArmenTel will present a service package for corporate subscribers. In particular, “Virtual Private Network” service which will allow offices located in various destinations to join a private corporate network”, he noted.

The forum will also be supported by U.S, Agency for International Development (USAID) through its program for development of enterprises and market competitiveness this year. Head of the Market Price Segment Zdravko Shamin said that they aim to contribute to enhancing the level of competitiveness of products of the Armenian market. --0--
