Yerevan/Mediamax/. Orange launches a large-scale partnership project with the universities of the biggest cities of Syunik region.
In the frames of the partnership agreements with Goris State University and Kapan branch of the State Engineering University of Armenia, the students of the mentioned two universities will be provided the chance to pass their internship in Orange and participate in the training and qualification courses organized for them by Orange employees.
Bruno Duthoit, the CEO of Orange Armenia, said: “It is well-known that the hardest step in career is to gain the first work experience. It is even harder when you live far from the capital. We are happy to launch this partnership project with these two universities, as Armenia is not limited by Yerevan only. Armenia is also the regions, with big and small settlements, and the students from regions should have the same opportunities as those living in Yerevan. I hope for our long-lasting and effective partnership”.
The partnership with the two universities was not limited by this. Orange Armenia, through its charity organization Orange Foundation, transferred 1 million AMD to each of the universities as a tuition fee for 18 students, already chosen on the proposal of the universities based on two basic criteria, i.e., social situation of the students’ families and their overall academic progress.
