Samsung Smart TV sales start in Armenia

Yerevan/Mediamax/. The sale of Smart TV multimedia TV sets produced by Samsung Electronics started in Armenia.

Head of Armenian representative office of Samsung Electronics Andranik Shahbazayan stated today that the majority of 30 Smart TV models are already presented in “Zigzag” shop chains and Samsung brand shops where the TV sets will be sold, Mediamax reports. The price for the TV sets ranges from AMD 190 000 up to about AMD1mln.

Smart-TV sets have some capacities typical of smartphones. They allow connecting to the Internet, downloading files, logging into social networks and visiting other sites (including sites in the Armenian language) as well as using Skype.

According to Andranik Shahbazyan, almost all Smart TV models provide 3D image, besides they have LED (starting from D5500 line) and plasma screens (starting from D6900 line).

The head of the Samsung’s Armenian representation office informed that all Smart TV sets imported to Armenia are produced in the company’s European plants specially for Armenia which is indicated by “made for Armenia” holographic signs.

“Holographic signs are a guarantee for purchasing Samsung original TV sets produced in Europe as well as for official guarantee services provided by the manufacturer”, he said adding that a 2-year guarantee will be given on all the TV sets.
