Net operating income of “ArmenTel” (Beeline trademark) reduced in the fourth quarter of 2010 by 5.7%, as compared to the analogous period of 2009, making AMD17bln 159mln (USD46.4mln). The operating income of the company in 2010 reduced by 6.4% in 2010, as compared to 2009, making AMD68bln 34mln AMD (USD183.8mln).
Mediamax reports referring to the operating and financial results of “VimpelCom Ltd.” that in the IV quarter of 2010, the net operating income from mobile business of “ArmenTel” reduced by 0.1%, as compared to the analogous period of 2009, making AMD7bln 41mln, and the proceeds from landline business reduced by 9.3%, making AMD10bln 118mln. All in all, in 2010 the operating income from mobile and landline business of “ArmenTel” reduced by 5.5% and 7% respectively, as compared to 2009.
“ArmenTel” Operating Income before Depreciation and Amortization (OIBDA) made AMD6bln 462mln in the IV quarter of 2010, having reduced by 26.1%, as compared to the same period of 2009. OIBDA index of “ArmenTel” reduced by 20.2% in 2010, making AMD29bln 214mln.
The number of subscriber agreements in “ArmenTel” mobile segment increased by 23.3% as compared to the IV quarter of 2009 and made 672 thousands as of December 31, 2010, and the number of broadband internet subscribers increased by 159.5% (41.8 thousands) in the accounting period, making 68 thousands.
The average monthly revenue of Beeline per user of mobile connection in Armenia (ARPU) made AMD 3560 in the IV quarter of 2010, having reduced by 19.7%, as compared to the analogous period of 2009 (in USD equivalent, ARPU index reduced by 13%, making USD10).
At that, MOU index (minutes of use per user per month) increased in the IV quarter by 2.5%, as compared to the analogous period of 2009, and made 274.9 minutes. All in all, in 2010 MOU index of “ArmenTel” increased by 23.8%, as compared to 2009, making 294.3 minutes.
