Minister of Transport and Communication suggested making activity of Orange Armenia more public

Armenian Minister of Transport and Communication Manuk Vardanyan suggested today “making the activity of Orange Armenia more public, so that the society could be fully informed on innovations, current tariffs, as well as understand and jointly discuss the problems, existing in the company, for the options of their solution to be more efficient”.

Mediamax was informed in the press service of the Ministry of Transport and Communication that Manuk Vardanyan said this today, while receiving the Vice-President of “France Telecom” Company, Orange Technical Center Director Yves Tyrod and Orange Armenia Director Bruno Duthoit.

Minister thanked the guest for visiting Armenia and introducing new technologies. Manuk Vardanyan expressed content by the works, carried out by Orange Armenia, and noted that this is also a result of competition.

Noting importance of innovation introduction in Armenia, Yves Tyrod noted that “Orange Expo” exhibition will be launched in Armenia today.

Vice-President of “France Telecom” Company informed that Armenia is the second country in the world, where the operator has introduced HD voice quality. Yves Tyrod stated that within the nearest three years a competition will be announced among students of Yerevan State University and Yerevan State Engineering University for the best innovative work, and the winner will work in Orange laboratories for 6 months.
