Yerevan /Mediamax/. Apaga Technologies today announced the acquisition of telecommunications infrastructure of Shirak Technologies (SHTE), a leading ISP provider in Gyumri and Shirak Marz.
Mediamax was informed in Apaga Technologies that “Shirak Technologies” telecom assets include a large optical fiber network and datacenters in Gyumri and Yerevan.
“Shirak Technologies’ assets will be integrated into Apaga Technologies existing network, thus making it hybrid infrastructure that will comprise both optical fiber and Wi-Fi wireless technology”, said Michel Davoudian, CEO of Apaga Technologies.
He noted that Apaga Technologies will start provision of Internet services in Gyumri and nearby villages under OZONE Armenia and OZONE Village brands. Michel Davoudian also stated that the company will expand services for organizations having branches and representative offices in Gyumri.
Apaga Technologies is the representative of OZONE Europe for Caucasus, deploying the OZONE broadband Internet technology in the rural areas and cities of Armenia.
