Yerevan /Mediamax/. Orange Armenia provides internet services in Armenia using “Internet Now” USB modems and Flybox devices, meant for home or office use.
Mediamax reports that, speaking at a news conference in Yerevan today, Aram Mkrtchyan, Marketing Director of Orange Armenia, stated that the users, who conclude contracts for the term of a year for “Internet Now” service, will be able to purchase USB modems at the symbolic price of 1 AMD.
“Internet Now” (speed up to 7.2Mb/sec) consists of three tariff plans:
- monthly fee of 9 thousand AMD – 3 Gb traffic;
- monthly fee of 11 thousand AMD – 6 Gb traffic;
- monthly fee of 20 thousand AMD – 15Gb traffic.
If the users have used up their monthly traffic volume, they can continue using unlimited internet with the speed of 128 kb/sec, or pay 6 thousand AMD and receive additional monthly volume of traffic according to their tariff plan.
General Director of Orange Armenia Bruno Duthoit stated that the company will purchase foreign internet using its own fiber-optic cable, which goes to Iran. According to Duthoit, Orange Armenia has purchased this cable from GNC-Alfa Company.
