“ArmenTel” to present its own concept to develop interconnect in Armenia

Yerevan /Mediamax/. General Director of “ArmenTel” (Beeline brand) Igor Klimko expressed indignation today concerning the actions of internet providers.

Mediamax reports that Igor Klimko stated that in the recent years “ArmenTel” Company has cut down the prices for internet for wholesale consumers approximately 9 times, however the prices of providers for final consumers remain high.

He reminded that during the past Forum of IT Leaders of Armenia, internet providers again turned to “ArmenTel” with the proposal to cut down tariffs for wholesale internet.

“It turns out that our company provides internet to providers at a wholesale price, builds main channels, invests means in reserving channels, and minor internet providers without making any significant investments into developing their own networks try to earn at the expense of “ArmenTel””, Igor Klimko stated.

He noted that in the nearest future “ArmenTel” will present its own concept to develop interconnect in Armenia.
