“ArmenTel” to offer operators equal conditions to get connected to its landline network

Yerevan /Mediamax/. General Director of “ArmenTel” (Beeline brand) Igor Klimko stated that VivaCell-MTS and Orange Armenia spoke from different positions as to the issue of concluding a new agreement on interconnect.

Answering the question of Mediamax today, Igor Klimko stated that in the given situation “ArmenTel” considered necessary to occupy a weighted position and present a proposal to the regulatory body concerning defining traffic for interconnect.

Concerning tariffs to get connected to landline network of “ArmenTel”, we should offer equal conditions both to the already functioning operator and the new one, Igor Klimko stated. At that he stressed that the new prices for interconnect will not be reflected in the tariffs for subscribers.

“We do not set ourselves the task on cutting down or increasing tariffs for interconnect. We should occupy a weighted position”, Igor Klimko stated.
