International presidential award for best works in IT sphere established in Armenia

Yerevan /Mediamax/. International presidential award for significant discoveries and best works in IT sphere is established in Armenia.

As Mediamax was told in the press service of the Armenian government, the establishment of an award was approved by the Information Technology Development Support Council.

At the session of the Council, which took place on April 10, a decision was made to transfer to year 2009 part of programs, meant for 2010-2011, on implementing a system of electronic management in state establishments, which will allow already in late 2009 having an efficient electronic management system.

Decision was made at the session of the Council to suggest to Public Service Regulatory Commission (PSRC) discussing the possibility of implementing a system of obligatory electronic payments by companies, which provide public services.
