Yerevan /Mediamax/. “Synopsys Armenia” and State Engineering University of Armenia (SEUA) have elaborated a joint four-year bachelor program for students of cybernetics department by the specialty of “Semiconductor Physics and Microelectronics”.
Mediamax reports that SEUA Rector Vostanik Marukhyan stated today that the program will be launched in September, 2009. One of its main peculiarities is the fact that students will be educated by the given program, starting from the very first academic year, and upon conclusion of the baccalaureate, will be able to continue education in magistracy and the postgraduate studies by the given specialty and by a joint program with “Synopsys Armenia”.
Chief Executive Officer of “Synopsys Armenia” Rich Goldman stated that the program aims at preparing highly qualified specialists in the sphere of designing giant-scale integration circuits and electronic automation.
New joint program provides for using of leading software tools of electronic design of “Synopsys” in the entire period of the educational process.
