SoloLearn co-founder makes it to the list of 50 promising female entrepreneurs

Crunchbase hasreleased the 50 Female Entrepreneurs Everyone Should Know list, which includes entrepreneur, co-founder and CEO of Armenian-American company SoloLearn Yeva Hyusyan.

The list was curated from a Crunchbase Pro search of female founders who have raised funding in 2018.

Some of the women on the list are in the beginning of their careers in business, while others have already raised hundreds of millions of dollars in funding.

SoloLearn raised USD 5.6 million in venture funding led by Naspers Ventures in September of 2018.

SoloLearn raises USD 5.6m

Founded in 2014, SoloLearn teaches JavaScript, Swift, Python, C++, HTML/CSS and other programming languages to a large audience of users, over half of which are from the U.S., India and Russia.

The startup has specialized content as well: machine learning, artificial intelligence, algorithms. Apart from the web platform, SoloLearn is available on Google Play and App Store.
