Repat Start Up mentorship program is accepting applications

Repat Armenia Foundation announced the second call for applications to Repat Start Up mentorship program.

The deadline for submitting the application is February 10th of 2019.

Launched in February 2018, Repat Start Up mentorship program exists to assist innovative individuals who are ready to start a new project that will directly impact the development of Armenia. The program was designed to help high impact startups thrive in Armenia by providing them with the needed environment, mentorship, networking and promotion opportunities.

Participants will receive one-on-one professional mentorship tailored to their needs, and the program will cover the cost of rent at a coworking space for a full year. Participants will also receive legal support, marketing and PR assistance in the form of meet-and-greet events, content on the Repat Armenia website, and interviews with different media outlets, participation in Sevan StartUp Summit, as well as introductory networking with professionals in Armenia and the Diaspora and potential investment opportunities at the end of the year.

The program is looking for applicants who currently live outside of Armenia or should have lived in Armenia for less than three years and have previous experience in business or social initiative sectors including, but not limited to Tourism, Medical Services, Technology, Agriculture, Communication & Information, Education, Social Initiatives, and Production.

Applicants living outside of Armenia will have the opportunity to hire a project coordinator in Armenia within 30 days of being accepted to the program.

Ranging from social entrepreneurship to IT sectors, Repat Start Up selected projects of 2018 first call have been developed from scratch. Having the support from the Repat StartUp mentors, the mentees presented their 6-month progress during the ‘’Meet&Greet: Introducing Repat StartUp Projects’’ event hosted by Repat Armenia on November 8th, 2018.
