“VivaStart” educational program is implemented by Armenia's leading telecommunication operator VivaCell-MTS since 2015. It aims at enabling students of various universities to specialize in sales and customer service.
Today 34 graduates of the “VivaStart” 8th group received their certificates for successfully completing the internship program in February-April in the scope of the program. During that period, students were given the opportunity to gain theoretical knowledge in sales and customer service and to turn that knowledge into practical skills through directly working with customers at VivaCell-MTS service centers operating in Yerevan and in different regions of Armenia.
During the graduation ceremony held at VivaCell-MTS headquarters, before receiving their certificates of completion, the “VivaStart” alumni participated in a competition, which once again gave an opportunity to demonstrate their professional knowledge and practical skills gained through the program.
The students were divided into 4 teams and each of the teams using SWOT-analysis method analyzed the services provided by VivaCell-MTS. The four main directions of the analyses were:
1. VivaCell-MTS voice and data services
2. “My VivaCell-MTS” mobile application
3. Customer service
4. Sales of mobile phones and devices
Each team was given 7 minutes to present the results of the analysis. The best presenter Lilit Ghazaryan and the 4 most active participants Artashes Agaryan, Siranush Karapetyan, Rimma Grigoryan, Hasmik Harutyunyan were awarded with power banks by VivaCell-MTS. All graduates received an opportunity to use the recently launched "X" tariff plan for one month period free of charge.
The competition allowed the graduates to once again strengthen their knowledge and hone their skills, which afterwards, was followed by the awarding of the certificates by VivaCell-MTS General Manager Ralph Yirikian.
"For the third year in a row, we are implementing the “VivaStart” educational program, the basis of which is providing the students with professional and practical skills to give them a huge professional potential and experience for their further development. Today, we witnessed one more time that thanks to “VivaStart” students acquire not only industry-related knowledge but also form critical and analytical thinking. Therefore, it is not surprising that program’s alumni are in high demand not only in the telecommunications sphere, but in the labor market in general," VivaCell-MTS General Manager Ralph Yirikian said.
Since the start of the program in 2015, 218 students have participated in the program. 100 students out of “VivaStart” alumni already use their professional knowledge and skills at different companies, including VivaCell-MTS competitor companies. 20 of the students, having shown the best results, have been employed at various VivaCell-MTS service centers.
