Winners of Smart City Hackathon revealed

Winners of Smart City Hackathon were announced yesterday at Yerevan Municipality.

The Hackathon involved 16 teams, 3 out which became winners.

The first prize (up to USD 5000 for project implementation) was awarded to Oorban team, which offered electronic management system for condominiums.

The second prize (up to USD 4000 for project implementation) was given to smart waste management project.

The third prize (up to USD 3000 for project implementation) was presented to Space team for elaboration of living standards monitoring tool for Yerevan communities.  

Best Smart City solutions for Yerevan will be accepted to Kolba Lab’s incubation cycle with initial investment for project implementation.  

The Hackathon at Yerevan Municipality was organized within the frames of “Innovation for development” program by Kola Lab, financed by the European Union and to be implemented by United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
