DigiCode annual youth contest of applied programming, organized by Union of Information Technology Enterprises (UITE) with the support of Ucom, took place on February 11 at Gyumri Technology Center (GTC).
“The development of technological education is one of the strategic directions of UITE. We consistently implement programs and promotional contests, attaching special importance to the equal involvement of all marzes. It is not a coincidence that the contest is held in Gyumri, while the participants represent schools from all marzes, as well as Artsakh,” President of UITE Alexander Yesayan remarked.
“It is gratifying that students of Armath engineering laboratories also took part in this contest of applied programming, as Ucom has contributed to the formation and development of technological thinking among them,” said Tigran Safaryan, the Head of Marketing and Communications at Ucom.
Aren Badalyan from Gavar School №3 with his “Interesting Mathematics” game and Razmik Sargsyan from Gyumri School № 23 with his “Battle for the Second Half” won in “The Best Game” category.
Helen Kosoyan from Smart City Center in Yerevan with her “Smart Elevator” and Vahagn Zargaryan from Artsvaberd School with his “Physics Lab” won “The Best Virtual Laboratory” category.
