An Armenian team launched Dhole mobile game, which allows users to learn the names of the constellations while playing.

The game can be downloaded free from AppStore.

Dhole was developed by two friends: Levon Arakelyan (game development) and Armen Mkhitaryan (design).

Levon Arakelyan told Itel.am that the universe and stars are a topic interesting to everyone, from kids to grown-ups.

“During the game you use the black hole in the middle of the screen to collect stars and guess the right answer. In the first level you have 8 attempts at a correct answer, then the number of attempts decreases parallel to rise of the levels. Dhole is an educational game. You learn the constellations as you play, and when you look at the night sky you can try to distinguish between them. Why DHole? It sounds a lot like The Hole (the black hole) and at the same time has an Armenian tune to it (dhole – Armenian drum),” Levon Arakelyan said.

Soon the team will release the game version for Android.
