Education Program Manager from Apple Russia joins JUST DILIJAN IT! team

JUST DILIJAN IT! Summer education programmes will be guided by Higher Education Program Manager with Apple Russia, Laureate of Russian Government Award in Education, Candidate of Psychological Sciences Yury Gorvits.

Passes to JUST DILIJAN IT! 2017 summer programmes are available from January 16.

“This year we decided to strengthen the educational component in children’s recreation. We are happy to see Yury Gorvits join our team of talented specialists and experienced teachers. He will manage our programmes for summer 2017. We also welcome founder and manager of the innovative educational programs “Festival of Science” Sergei Korneev, who will coordinate natural science direction of JUST DILIJAN IT! 2017,” said Education Program Manager at Scholae Mundi Natalia Podolnaya, who performs as organizer of JUST DILIJAN IT! summer programmes.

Same as last year, JUST DILIJAN IT! is for children aged 10-16, and will be held at UWC Dilijan College. This year the classes will take place between June 7 and August 4 in four shifts, each of them lasting 14 days.

The organizers anticipate around 100-120 participants for each shift.

“The main idea of JUST DILIJAN IT! 2017 is to discover yourself, your friends and country, and the world. Our programmes are aimed at shaping free, smart, creative, purposeful and kind personalities,” Yury Gorvits said.

“Last year JUST DILIJAN IT! had huge success, uniting children from different age groups and background around similar interests. Some children took part in the programmes with support from various foundations, including Scholae Mundi Armenia (SMA). We intend to keep that tradition this year too,” said Scholae Mundi Foundation CEO Andrey Khojikyan.

JUST DILIJAN IT! are organized by Scholae Mundi Armenia, which was founded by co-founders of UWC Dilijan College.
