IT professional associations welcome the creation of FAST Foundation

Enterprise Incubator Foundation (EIF), Union of Employers of Information and Communication Technologies (UE ICT), Union of Information Technology Enterprises (UITE) commented on Ruben Vardanyan’s interview with Itel.am’s request on launching of Foundation for Armenian Science and Technology-FAST.

Talking about the Foundation, Ruben Vardanyan had particularly said.

“The focus should be on a kind of "broad coalition", which will unite educational institutions, leading IT-companies, professional associations of Armenia and network operators”.

EIF said that they highly appreciate any initiative aimed at technological development.

“EIF is working closely with all the organizations, unions and associations that support the development of IT sector in Armenia. And now also we are ready to cooperate within the framework of FAST Initiative if there are possible variants. Given the experience of the authors in carrying out various projects in Armenia, we are confident that this program will be a success and contribute to the development of IT sector in Armenia”, EIF answered to Itel.am.

ICT Union of Employers also welcomed creation of Union of Armenia's ICT technical foundation.

“The union attaches importance to the initiatives aimed at creating favorable environment for technological innovation, research and mobilization of financial resources and expresses its willingness to cooperate with the new scientific foundation”.

ICT Union of Employers recalls that are implementing advanced training program in ICT subjects in a number of public schools.

“The union keeps military industry and cyber security in its focus as well”, ICT Union of Employers said.

UITE also praised the creation of foundation, promising to comment on it soon.
