PicsArt Chief Operations Officer and Co-Founder Artavazd Mehrabyan, commenting on their joining the urge to reach for treaty eliminating double taxation between the US and Armenia, said: “ there are currently no answers and expectations for that matter: this isn’t a one day issue, it needs to be continuous”.
He told this answering to Itel.am the other day during an event dedicated to PicArt in American University in Armenia.
“Our action was done mainly to support the initiative as our voice is considered to be more heard and we want to help. Our company and Shadowmatic are a part of the companies that joined the urge and it’s possible that other famous organizations will join as well”, said Artavazd Mehrabyan, highlighting that they don’t have any certain expectation from that.
It should be recalled that PicsArt had joined the urge addressed to the President of the U.S. Barak Obama to reach for treaty eliminating double taxation between the US and Armenia.
Yesterday, creator of Shadowmatic game- Triada Studio also joined the urge.
Armenian-American PicsArt company(65 mln active users), that has a same name application designed for photo editing with 250 mln downloads was announced as one of 50 Forbes Hottest Startups of 2015 in Silicon Valley being valued USD 250 by Forbes.
In its turn, Google Play named PicsArt as one of the best apps of 2015.
PicsArt had USD25 investment from Sequoia Capital and Insight Venture Partners.
The company has offices in Yerevan and San Francisco.
