Ucom and Ameriabank launch Ameria TV Banking service

Ameriabank and Ucom announced today the launch of Ameria TV Banking service.

This is a new service in Armenia, it allows users to view the amount of utility fees, create and make group payments, view payment history and Ameriabank’s currency rates of the day on their TV screens. The service also allows to see the addresses of Ameriabank branches and ATMs on the list and the map.

Ameriabank Retail Banking Director Arman Barseghyan observed that the introduced service is a major advance in the sphere of online tools implementation.

“We developed Ameria TV Banking service with Ucom under “The Bank is where you need it” slogan, creating a more convenient option to pay for utilities. We already had working experience with Ucom, we own a joint credit card with benefits, and this is our second project. I think that the public will give great response to this project of our two companies constantly striving for innovation,” said Arman Barseghyan.

“One of the goals of our joint initiative with Ameriabank is to further relieve our customers’ everyday life by creating an alternative service that will allow to make all payments very quickly and easily. This service has no analogue in Armenia, and I believe that TV Banking will soon become one of the most relevant services,” noted Tigran Safaryan, Marketing and Communications Director of Ucom.

Subscribers of any U!TV package who hold Ameriabank accounts can view the amount they owe for utilities by TV and make payments with TV remote-control station.

All Ucom subscribers who would like to use this service can apply to the company, and all those who will begin to use Ucom TV services will be provided the service automatically.
