Ahead of Demo Day: Cafemobile to make service in cafes faster

Microsoft Innovation Center Armenia (MIC) will conclude its Acceleration Program for innovative solution startups that included 12 local startups, by Demo Day on February 21 at Ayb School.

The teams will introduce results of the work they completed in the last months to IT specialists, potential investors and entrepreneurs on that day.

On the eve of Demo Day, MIC Armenia and Itel.am present the stories of 12 startups.

Cafemobile app gives customers the opportunity to get acquainted with the menu of the certain café/restaurant, book a table and when already there, call the water or ask for the bill.

Aram Petrosyan, Husik Grigoryan and Volodya Babikyan are included in the team.

Aram Petrosyan told Itel.am, that they had the idea to create Cafemobile when they had to wait for the waiter for a long time in a pub.

“We decided to develop the app, that will help not to wait and call the waiter with the help of it”, he said.



The demo version of the app is already ready, which is being prepared to be presented to the cafes and restaurants in Yerevan.

The Android version is expected to be launched in the near future.

“Getting included in the Acceleration Program, we are not only able to use the center, computers and the service, we also get prominent advice on technical and marketing issues: it is very important for a startup that is just making first steps”, said Husik Grigoryan.
