Microsoft Innovation Center Armenia (MIC) will conclude its Acceleration Program for innovative solution startups, that included 12 local startups, by Demo Day on February 21 at Ayb School.
The teams will introduce results of the work they completed in the last months to IT specialists, potential investors and entrepreneurs on that day.
On the eve of Demo Day, MIC Armenia and Itel.am present the stories of 12 startups.
Helpie is a platform for easier and more efficient use of websites and programs.
Tigran Atayan and Vahe Madatyan are the startup founders.
Tigran Atayan told Itel.am that the team came up with the idea of an application helping website users to improve their skills a long time ago.
“While working with different customers, we realized that they often have difficulties using their own websites or programs. It became necessary to repeat detailed explanations or constantly assist in using a website or a program. Helpie offers an innovative solution in this field, trying to resolve that issue,” noted he.
According to Tigran Atayan, web version of Helpie, which is to be tested with cooperating partners, will be ready in March.
The team will later work on developing a mobile version as well.
“We achieved great progress within the Startup Acceleration Program. Having an innovative idea is only half of the process, it’s important to understand the idea’s business model, paying attention to many factors that promote success - product marketing, establishment of connections with potential investors, gathering opinions of potential customers. Acceleration Program helped to learn about all that,” concluded Helpie founder.
