Rostelecom announces a contest for older generation internet users

Rostelecom is holding “Thank You, Internet 2015” contest specially designed for older generation internet users in Armenia.

Armenia is the second country after Russia where the contest is carried out.

The contest is meant for older generation users (50+) who learnt how to use a computer and internet on their own or through special courses.

To take part in the contest, visit the Contest section of the website and fill out the application form uploading an essay and 2 photos (photo and a video camera snapshot).

The essays should cover 2 topics - “Internet - My Friend and Assistant” and “Virtual Communication”.

“Nowadays, not only young people but elderly people are interested in the internet resources. Many of them are active users of social networks, they keep track of news feeds as well. We call upon older users to register and take part in the contest. Prizes and surprises await each of them. We are waiting for your stories”, said Rostelecom Armenia PR Department Head Siranush Gyurjinyan.

The deadline for works is October 1, 2015.

The Armenian winners will be awarded within November classes.

The contest is organized by Rostelecom OJSC and Pension Fund of Russian Federation.
