French University in Armenia to organize videoconference courses with Orange support

The innovative hall for “Court Hearings and Videoconferences” officially opened at the French University in Armenia.

The newly-opened hall is armed with state-of-the-art technologies owing to which the university students and staff can have videoconferences with foreign universities.

Besides financial assistance, Orange Armenia also provides technical solution ensuring international network.

“Innovations have always played an important role in our strategy. For already five years, we have been introducing modern technologies and innovative solutions in various spheres in Armenia, including in healthcare and education. We are happy that from now on the students and staff of the French University in Armenia and other French-speaking HEIs in Armenia will be able to organize a more productive learning process, owing to the joint efforts of this program’s partners and our innovative and technical solutions,” said Orange Armenia CEO Francis Gelibter.

“High-quality telecommunications equipment has also been installed in the courtroom. It will enable to conduct online lectures, do practical works and hold discussions,” noted Rector of the French University in Armenia Jean-Jacques Montois.

Besides the students and the staff of the French University in Armenia, the students and lecturers of other Armenia-based universities that have membership in Francophone University Agency can also take advantage of the newly-opened videoconference hall.
