VivaCell-MTS informs that the outage that occurred on Saturday, May 2, 2015 evening was fixed by 02:00 AM on Sunday, May 3.
Part of VivaCell-MTS’ subscribers experienced intermittent disruptions connected to data transfer because of the outage. The problem was found in one of the network subsystems responsible for data transfer. Throughout this period, voice services were functioning normally. And the Call Center of the Company handled considerably higher than average call volumes.
VivaCel-MTS’ rapid response team was working continuously during the whole period to identify the root cause of the incident, and fully resolved the disruption.
VivaCell-MTS sincerely apologizes for the inconvenience that the outage has caused to its subscribers.
