Within the cooperation of Beeline and All-National Trust Board, “Komitas: Crane of Melancholy” will be screened.
The screening of the film is held within events under the slogan of “Remember and Claim” and dedicated to the Armenian Genocide Centennial events.
In the film, Komitas is portrayed in the way he was in reality. His image was based on the archive letters, memoirs, monologues, lucid and dark moments of his mind. After the film screening, the exhibition of Grigor Ter-Avagyan’s paintings, “Armenia through the Eyes of a Soul”, will be held. The exhibition is aimed at showing the world the Armenian spirit, culture, speech and handwriting again.

Culture is the powerful tool through which historical events can be made maximum available to the larger public. The first screening of “Komitas: Crane of Melancholy” film-performance will be held at the National Academic Theater after G. Sundukyan at 19:00 on March 30. The film will also be screened in Georgia, Russia and Lebanon.
