Border village children to attend courses at Tumo with Beeline support

Beeline and “Gates of Motherland” NGO announced the launch of “Border Village Children at Tumo” program.

Within the program, the children of 12 border villages in Tavush region will attend Tumo Center for Creative Technologies in Dilijan for six months. The children will attend courses on animation, digital media and game and website development.

“Beeline continues to implement social projects helping the young generation change their life for the better through their own efforts. We are happy that owing to Beeline, border village children will have a unique opportunity to obtain new and relevant knowledge which will create new prospects for their future vocation”, said Beeline Armenia CEO Andrey Pyatakhin.

“Any child born and living in a border village is a border guard. We ought to create more favorable conditions for the education and leisure time of these children by making their life happier”, said Head of “Gates of Motherland” NGO Arman Hayrapetyan.

Vice-President at Tumo Center for Creative Technologies Aram Gyumishyan noted that it’s been two years since Tumo opened its doors in Dilijan and will soon be opened in Gyumri and Stepanakert.

Tumo and “Gates of Motherland” have been cooperating since 2013 and within “Gates of Motherland” program, have carried out two projects – “Two Days in Fairy Tale” and gifts for “Children in Yervandashat Village” – aimed at the solution of issues border villages face. Within their cooperation, sports and play grounds were constructed in Chinari and Voskepar border villages in Tavush region in 2014.
