Ucom to be rearmed with Calix support

Armenian Ucom and American Calix have presented the results of their cooperation in IT sphere as well as new initiatives and ideas.

Calix is one of global leaders in innovations through which companies get a chance to convert their networks and become broadband suppliers for their subscribers.

Along with Calix, Ucom will carry out rearmament works this year. In order to strengthen relations with the subscribers, the staff of the technical support department will be enlarged for around two times in order to provide a solution to any issue the subscribers might face within a minimum term (18 hours).

“Last year we carried out a number of important projects, which are already available or will be available in the coming days or months. In this regard, technical rearmament was of utmost importance – we are shifting to more reliable and new generation technologies of American Calix E7 series. The areas that connected to our network last year and the connections expected this year will be fully based on these new technologies. Our cooperation with Calix will help us make each of our subscribers personally feel the positive role of innovative technologies”, said Ucom CEO Hayk Yesayan.

In 2014, Ucom received Calix Innovations Award in Las Vegas.
