ArmenTel provides 98% coverage in Armenia

ArmenTel (Beeline trademark) provided 98% mobile coverage in Armenia.

ArmenTel’s acting spokeswoman Tatev Ayrumyan said this responding to Mediamax’s request.

“Taking into account CDMA service as well, we can say that our services are available everywhere besides uninhabited settlements”, she said.

Tatev Ayrumyan noted that ArmenTel will keep making investments in modernization of infrastructures.

Mediamax recalls that under the decision made by Public Service Regulatory Commission, the operators should publish information on the settlements they provide coverage on their sites mentioning the used technologies. The same refers to the list of the settlements where there is no mobile network.

Tatev Ayrumyan said that “we are currently finalizing the list and will publish the relevant information on the company’s site”.
