Indian Param supercomputer is already sent to Armenia

Yerevan/Mediamax/. Indian “Param” supercomputer is already sent to Armenia, Mediamax reports quoting Indian Express newspaper.

The newspaper notes that Armenian-Indian High-Tech Center will be set up in Yerevan within 2 months and the premises are currently being prepared in Armenia’s capital.

Indian Centre for Development of Advanced Computing and Armenian Enterprise Incubator Foundation are the partners of the project’s implementation.

Armenian-Indian High-Tech Center will operate on the territory of Yerevan State University. The volume of investments into equipment of the center from the Indian part makes approximately $ 1mln.

Indian “Param” supercomputer is to be placed in the center to realize research in the sphere of High Performance Computing, bioinformatics and chemistry.
