Commission to present proposals on developing e-commerce in Armenia

Yerevan/Mediamax/. An interdepartmental commission will be established, as assigned by Armenian Prime Minister, and it will discuss the gaps in the legislative system hindering e-commerce development and will present relevant proposals within 2 months.

The issue was discussed at the session of the Council for IT Support chaired by Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan today, the governmental press service informed Mediamax.

It was noted at the session that the issues concern the customs sphere in particular.

The session also focused on the problems occurring during electronic tax billing. The Prime Minister assigned the interested departments and companies to discuss ways to solve the problem in task-force format and present suggestions.
