Volume of Orange Armenia investments in telecommunication market in Armenia made 150mln EUR

Yerevan/Mediamax/. Overall volume of Orange Armenia Company’s investments in telecommunication market of Armenia made 150mln EUR, including the cost of the licence.

Mediamax reports that Orange Armenia CEO Bruno Duthoit said this today at the jubilee news conference on the occasion of one year anniversary of the company in the Armenian market.

Company head stated that Orange Armenia did not expect to gain profit in the first year of its activity, and since 2011, the mobile operator plans to cover the operational expenses at the expense of sales.

Bruno Duthoit informed that the company spends 3000 AMD to acquire one subscriber of voice connection. And the profit makes 1500-2000 AMD per one subscriber of voice connection and 7000-9000 AMD per one subscriber of internet connection (without VAT).

In October, 2010, Orange Armenia turnover made 1bln AMD.
